San Antonio’s backcourt of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili each scored 31 points to beat New Orleans.

With their backs against the wall, and facing a 3-0 deficit in the series, San Antonio’s Tony Parker and Mau Ginobli came out fighting. Both players combined for 17 fourth-quarter points to lead San Antonio 110-99 win. San Antonio now trails 2-1 in their series with New Orleans. For the game, Parker and Ginobli each had a game-high 31 points.
Ginobli, the league’s 6th Man of the Year, knew what they were up against.
“We know that going 3-0 - it’s never been done to come back like that,'’ said Ginobili. “Today, for us, it was a Game 7. We knew if we didn’t win today, it was almost over. So we had a different approach. We played with more passion, more edge.'’
In the losing effort, David West scored 23 points and 12 rebounds for New Orleans.
In the Eastern Conference semis, Boston, behind a team-high 19 points from Paul Pierce, won 89-73 and took a 2-0 lead in their series with Cleveland . LeBron James led Cleveland with a team-high 21 points.
