Kobe Bryant exploded for 49 points and 10 rebounds in Game 2 of Los Angeles’ series with Denver.

Kobe started fast and never let up in Game 2 against Denver on Wednesday night. He scored an amazing 20 points in the first quarter and ended up with 49 points on 18-for-27 shooting from the field. Kobe was in the zone in the first quarter.
“I didn’t realize it. I didn’t even know it. We were just getting into a rhythm, getting into a groove. My teammates saw me performing and it feels like when you get hot, the ball just finds you,” said Kobe, who got a standing ovation from the crowd at the end of the game.
Pau Gasol also had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the 122-107 win. Los Angeles now has a 2-0 lead in the series.
