Sunday we joined Academy Sports & Outdoors for a big day of balling. We invited the Boys and Girls club of San Antonio to come through and participate in training sessions local area trainers.

The kids worked with each other on their assist game.

Even the little ballers had game.

And there were some great young shooters holding it down for the ladies.

Then we took the game inside and spent some time with Hall of Famer and hometown hero George Gervin and Rick Barnes, head coach at the University of Texas.

George Gervin shared his stories about the game and his community service.

The Iceman gave a little glimpse of his sweet jumper.

The kids battled for position to get their hands on an autographed ball.

Rich Barnes schooled the kids on the college game and what it takes to be an elite baller.
