Take a closer look at the Zoom BB II from The Collection.
Just north of NYC is a school that has been holding it down for years. With four public high school titles this decade, including back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007, Coach Bob Cimmino has built a powerhouse at Mt. Vernon High School. The Knights’ valiant effort on the court and relentless style of play means they rarely have any kinks in their armor. This past season, they were 23-4 and had their usual Division I scholarship offers.
Mt. Vernon is where one shining Knight, Ben Gordon, learned to play the game with honor and passion. After heading to UCONN, Gordon took his game to the NBA and has become the leader of the Chicago team.
To pay respect to a team that always honors the game, Nike has personalized the Zoom BB II in the red and yellow school colors of the Knights. Red patent-leather leather shines on the base and the upper heel, whle the Knights’ mascot reps the outer heel. Perfed white leather covers the middle of the shoe and a yellow swoosh covers the back. The Zoom BB II is the shoe for the team that deserves the royal treatment.
