Today is Kobe Blog Day. Join in with other Kobe fans as they rain praise on a player who has taken his game to another level.

Today is the day to make your voice heard. As part of the first Kobe Blog Day, not just fans of Kobe, but fans of basketball, are taking to the blogs today to speak out about a player whose sheer brilliance and determination is changing the game. Forget the haters who leave anonymous comments or the sports radio bitterness, today is about raining praise on a player who has given it his all to be the greatest to ever play the game. It’s your chance to shine a brighter light on Kobe – a player who is winning awards and setting records every night, every week and every month.
There is so much to talk about on this Kobe Blog Day, especially Kobe’s play as of late. As the season has gone on, the look in Kobe’s eyes has become sharper and sharper. It’s the look of a baller who knows no defender can stop him. It’s the look of a player who refuses to lose.
Maybe it’s time to talk about how he played in his 10th All-Star game. Maybe it’s time to let everyone know how he elevated his game even higher in February. Despite a finger injury and adjusting to new teammate Pau Gasol, Kobe’s domination of the court was never in doubt. He led his team to a 13-2 record during February while dropping 40 points, not once, but twice – first with 46 points against Toronto on Feb. 1st and then with another 46 points against Phoenix on Feb. 20th.
Sing the praise of Kobe! In one month, he led his team from the middle of the playoff pack to the best team in the West. Drop some knowledge on Kobe winning the NBA’s Player of the Month award for the Western Conference in February and then just days later being named the Player of the Week. That’s what happens when you torch Dallas for 52 points in a 108-104 double-overtime win.
Let the world know how many times Kobe has scored over 50 points in a game (hint: 22) and how that moved him to 25th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
There is so much to shout about with Kobe, so make today the day you let your voice be heard. Whether it’s how you draw inspiration from his play or how you watch in amazement as Kobe enters “the zone” or how you use follow his example of getting all his teammates involved. Whatever it is, let it be known today. Take to your blog, your favorite website, even your email and give props to the player who plays with strength and lives with honor.
