Deron Williams went head-to-head with the best point guards in the league and came out on top in the Skills Challenge.
After advancing to the finals of the competition, Williams took it up a notch and posted a time of 25.5 seconds, the fastest final round time ever. Just .1 off the record set by Steve Nash in the first round of the 2005 Skills Challenge. By sinking every shot and putting every pass through the hoops on his final round, Williams blew away the competition and secured the 2008 Skills Challenge championship.
Also, Deron’s Utah teammate Carlos Boozer scored 10 points for the West side in the midseason classic.
