Hoopstalk host Rich Lopez took the show on the road for the midseason classic in New Orleans. The Foot on Canal street opened its doors to fans from across the country that flocked to the city to see their favorite athletes. Joining him on stage at the Foot Locker was the first ever Nike Women’s Field Reporter Brittany Jones-Cooper and two of basketball’s biggest names, Amare Stoudemire and Diana Taurasi.
The streets we packed as fans lined up to meet their favorite ballers.
Rich and Brittany warm the crowd and introduce Amare.
STAT came through Friday evening to share stories of his past All-Star appearances, playing with the world’s best on Team USA and what he was planning to bring to the court for the big game.
Amare passed out some autographed gifts to the people in the house.
Diana Taurasi came through to represent for the ladies, talking about facing off against the toughest ballers in the WNBA, playing ball in freezing cold Moscow and doing her part to help get New Orleans back on its feet.
Diana tossed out specially autographed basketballs into the crowd.
Paul Pierce stopped through for an official Foot Locker autograph signing session.
