Seattle’s Durant and Green lead the Rookies; Portland’s Roy and Aldridge lead the Sophomores.
Brandon Roy, the reigning Rookie of the Year, and the likely 2008 Rookie of the Year, Kevin Durant, will highlight the battle of the future NBA stars in the 2008 Rookie Challenge on Feb. 15th.

Durant, fresh off his third Player of the Month award, can count on Seattle teammate Jeff Green to lend a hand for the Rookies. Also providing firepower down low for the Rookies are Atlanta’s Al Horford and Milwaukee’s Yi Jianlian.

Brandon Roy, the leader of the basketball renaissance in Portland, will be joined by teammate LaMarcus Aldridge on the Sophomore squad. The duo, who has played so well together this season, will give the Rookie defense all it can handle. Toronto forward Andrea Bargnani will join them after scoring 12 points in last year’s contest as a Rookie, while Ronnie Brewer of Utah and Cleveland’s Daniel Gibson will be in the backcourt for the Sophomores.
Finally, adding some intra-team spice to the game will be rookie Juan Carlos Navarro going against his Memphis teammate – and Slam Dunk participant - Rudy Gay.
