Help Rudy win the 2008 All-Star Dunk Contest.
Rudy Gay has been selected for this year’s All-Star Slam Dunk competition and he’s teaming up with YouTube to give you the chance to pick the dunk he uses to win!
Rudy is challenging you to show him what it takes to win the All-Star dunk trophy. It’s simple. Go behind the back. Jump over your friends. Kiss the rim. Shatter the backboard. Videotape you’re sickest, most devastating, most show stopping dunks. Then submit the video of your dunk as a video response to Rudy’s post on YouTube.com by 2/13. If you’ve got what it takes, you’ll get tickets to All-Star weekend to see Rudy attempt your dunk for all the world to see.
Rudy has been rocking rims all season long – currently ranked 9th in the league with 40 dunks - so it only made sense that the Memphis high-flyer was asked to participate in the Slam Dunk contest. He will be one of four contestants in the Slam Dunk contest, which takes place on Feb. 16th at 8pm ET.
And, for the first time ever, fans will be able to pick the winner by voting via text message or on the NBA website. A panel of judges will pick the two finalists, then the fans and judges (a judge’s vote will count the same as a fan’s vote) will vote on the winner.
