WNBA Postseason 2007: Phoenix Evens Series At 2-2
Cappie Pondexter scores 26 points to lead Phoenix to Game 4 win.

Facing elimination, Phoenix’s Cappie Pondexter dug deep and found a way to lead her team to victory. Pondexter scored the go-ahead basket with 21 seconds left giving her a game-high 26 points and giving Phoenix the 77-76 win on Thursday night in Game 4. Diana Taurasi added 20 points in Phoenix’s win, forcing the fifth and deciding game of the WNBA Finals.
Detroit’s backcourt of Deanna Nolan and Katie Smith scored 17 and 14 points respectively, but Detroit still came up a point short. Game 5 of the Finals is Sunday (9/16) at 4:30pm ET in Detroit.
