In coming back from 22 points down to win 93-88 in overtime in Indiana on Monday night, Indiana set the record for biggest comeback in WNBA playoff history. As usual, Indiana relied on their All-Star Tamika Catchings to lead them. Catchings didn’t disappoint with a game-high 30 points, including an amazing 16-of-17 from the free-throw line, and a game-high 13 rebounds.

Connecticut, behind 27 points from Katie Douglas and 21 points from both Asjha Jones and Lindsay Whalen, fought hard, but in the end, Indiana would not be denied. Indiana will face the winner of Tuesday’s game between Detroit and New York in the conference finals.

San Antonio 80, Sacramento 78

Sacramento got 20 points from Nicole Powell, including 10 points in the fourth quarter, and fought back from a 20-point deficit to take a last-minute lead, but it was not enough to offset the a franchise playoff-record 26 points from San Antonio’s Sophia Young. Becky Hammon also scored 22 points in the winning cause. San Antonio will now take on Phoenix in the conference finals.
