Congratulations to the Nike ballers headed to Vegas for this weekend’s USA Basketball mini-camp.
Mini-camp begins Friday and wraps up Sunday with a Blue-White game that pits the best of the USA against each other. USA Basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski will be keeping a close eye on the action, as mini-camp helps to determine the finalists who will compete August 22 - September 2 in the FIBA Americas Championship 2007.
Some new faces will make an appearance for the USA, including Carlos Boozer, Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd, Tayshaun Prince, Deron Williams and rising rookies Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. They’ll join previous team selection LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion, Michael Redd, Chris Bosh, Bruce Bowen, J.J. Redick and Luke Ridnour.
