Force Stories: Rasheed Wallace

Get ready for more postseason quality time with Sheed.

Throughout his career Rasheed Wallace has demonstrated unquestionable ferocity with his play. Offensively, he’s consistently inflicted damage from outside the arc and down low. Defensively, his smothering approach and long arms have always made him a frustrating presence.

Now in his 11th season, Sheed continues to be a key contributor on both sides of the ball, averaging over 12 points, 7+ boards, 1.5 blocks and a steal per game this season. Whether it’s draining buzzer-beaters from beyond half court or providing fierce D against the league’s top post players, he remains one of the most dreaded matchups for opponents around the league.

With the second season just days away, Detroit is focused on the playoffs, and will have to rely heavily on Rasheed’s many years of playoff experience if they are going to make a championship run. Whatever the outcome, Sheed’s guaranteed to make it a show.
