Like a steam engine building speed, Carlos Boozer’s game got better as Utah rolled into the playoffs. Averaging 21 points and almost 12 rebounds per game, Boozer is primed for the show.
Last season, Boozer returned from injury to solidify his starting role and ignited winning chemistry with his Utah teammates. This season had familiar echoes as Boozer sustained a hairline fracture early on. But true to form, Boozer overcame adversity and rebounded to greatness as he came back to reclaim his leadership in both points and boards.
Now, led by Booz and teammates Deron Williams and Mehmet Okur, Utah has successfully checked themselves into the playoffs and Boozer seems to be stronger than ever. Only one thing is for sure, whoever matches him up will certainly have their hands full.
