Vegas 07: David Lee grabs Rookie Challenge MVP
Led by Lee’s perfect 14-for-14 shooting, the Sophomores trounced the Rookies, 155-114.
David was the star of the show, exploding for a game-high 30 points plus 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Sophomore Chris Paul went bananas as well, finishing with 17 assists and nine steals - both Challenge records - to go with his 16 points. Danny Granger and Luther Head scored 17 and 15, respectively, in the blowout victory.
The Rookies had their share of top performers, too. Rudy Gay put up 22 points, Randy Foye scored 14 and Andrea Bargnani had 12. Some of these guys will definitely return next year as Sophomores and try to come away with the W.
