We’re looking back at the dominant Force players in Nike history. This week: Moses Malone.
The first basketball player to go straight from high school to the pros, Moses Malone continued to set trends as a scorer, rebounder and all-around legend at center, with a record of success spanning 3 decades of basketball.
After picking up two MVPs and taking a losing Houston team all the way to the finals, Malone found a new home in Philadelphia. He didn’t waste any time getting to work with the squad, helping Philly go 12-1 in the playoffs and sweep Los Angeles for the championship. Malone took home both league and playoff MVP honors that year, one of many high points in his illustrious career.
