The Zoom Kobe I event was held at Next, a club in downtown Houston. The remodeled venue now resembles that of the 255 store in LES NYC – luxury and plush.

Tonight’s event was done right — Kobe style. Asian statuettes, samurai swords, large Black/White game shots, Zoom Kobe I shoe enclosures, even the bar had a sneaker case resting above it filled with Zoom Kobe I’s. Once the doors opened, people poured into the space. This included Nike heads, Nike shoe designers, shop owners, coaches, athletes and Kobe fans. Blue lighting, chandeliers and candles flickered in the room as a dj spun hip-hop through the night. It was a fully catered event along with an entrance gift – a chromed out pair of Zoom Kobe I’s.
